Two men in their 30s have been arrested following the attempted kidnap of a man innDagenham last night.

Police officers, including armed officers, attended and stopped a vehicle on Bonham Road.

A spokesperson for the Met Police told the Havering Daily:

“Police were called at 22:03hrs to reports that a man had been kidnapped.

Officers, including armed officers, attended and stopped a vehicle in Bonham Road, Dagenham.

The victim was located. He had suffered minor injuries.

A 31-year-old man and a 39-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of kidnap.

They have been taken to an east London police station where they remain in custody.”

Enquiries continue.
