VIDEO: Fire on Ingrebourne Hill being investigated.

A fire that blazed across Ingrebourne Hill in Rainham yesterday afternoon is now under investigation by the London Fire Brigade.

Eight fire engines and around 60 firefighters dealt with the grass fire on Hornchurch Country Park in Rainham.

Around five hectares of grass and shrubland were damaged by the blaze.

The Brigade was called at 16:48 and the fire was under control by 19:04. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
