Residents dismayed at poor council parking.

Collier Row residents were quite shocked to see how badly council officers had parked their van on Thursday 18 August.

The vehicle seemed to have been ‘abandoned’ more than parked on Lowshoe Lane last week as locals were clearly baffled by this shocking parking.

Tony who witnessed the parking, told the Havering Daily: “They are very quick to give us parking tickets and yet happy to leave their vehicle parked in this ridiculous way!”

A spokesperson for Havering Council said:

“The council is looking into the circumstances surrounding this picture to determine what has happened, and will deal with the situation as appropriate. Council staff must continue to set an example for residents across the borough, and we will work to ensure this doesn’t happen again.”
