Special fund raiser night held at Jukebox in Romford in memory of much loved Ricky Hayden.
A special fund raising event was hosted at Jukebox on South Street in Romford on Saturday August 13 in memory of Ricky Hayden who lost his life to knife crime. Ricky had worked at the club and was much loved by everyone there before tragically losing his life in 2016. Danny Woodhouse raised an incredible £550 from the fund raising night that will be used to buy life saving bleed kits.
April Hayden, sister of Ricky was present at the night to support the event and is a very active anti knife crime campaigner alongside her mum Sue Hedges.
Sue told the Havering Daily: “I would like to thank Danny and his team for hosting an amazing evening. I would also like to thank the djs who donated their wages on the night Wade Kadir, Tom Short, tony Christofi, Liam B and Bongo Dan.
“Thank you to everyone who attended and helped us support our work to donate as many bleed kits/units across the community as we can in memory of our Ricky.”
Both Sue and April work tirelessly to help stop knife crime and donating Daniel Baird Bleed kits that are LAS approved and vital life saving tools for our community.
