Music Hall returns to the Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch.


They’re back! Your much-loved music hall and variety entertainers bring you a blast from the past packed with good singalong tunes, cracking jokes and fun as the ever-popular Queen’s Theatre Music Hall returns to the Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch on Friday 2 September 2022 at 2.30pm!

In this tribute to good old-fashioned East End variety entertainment with regular and new stars, forming part of the Queen’s Theatre’s Magical Matinee Series. Audiences will enjoy the charming gavel-banging ofrenowned Chairman and national treasure, Keith Hopkins, with performances directed by Miss Kay Carman from top magician Daniel Dean and tap dancing beauty Katie Lewis, musical marvel Victoria Francis, with returning music hall star favourites and regular Queen’s songstress Katie Milton and singalong from top West End star, Simon Bashford.

Returning to the stage will be bubbly, raven-haired Queen’s Theatre regular soprano Katie Milton, a familiar face with audiences, who has been bringing the Music Hall to the Queen’s Theatre throughout the last decade. Katie will sing operatic favourites The Waltz Song from Tom Jones and operatic favourite O Mio Babbino Caro, with music hall medleys including After The Ball and Memories.

Popular actor and entertainer and popular Panto Dame, Simon Bashford, will also provide much merriment with his fun well known singalongs and cockney favourites Lambeth Walk and Leaning on a Lampost. Simon has also appeared on the West End stage and regularly in Covent Garden.

Be prepared to be amazed as Daniel Dean and tap dancing Katie Lewiswow you with wonderment and mellifluous magic and a whole lot of surprises!

Queen’s Theatre favourite, Kay Carman (Down Memory Lane, Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch) directs and performs songs including Daddy Wouldn’t Give Me a Bow Wow and Why Am I Always The Bridesmaid.
