The Rising Sun-experience Romford in a new light.

Last Friday 15 July a new exhibition was launched in Romford market place. The Rising Sun gives locals the opportunity to experience Romford in a whole new light. It is the fantastic creation of local award winning artist David Shearing and studio Variable Matter.

The exhibition allows locals to enter the room and sit in a light filled area and listen to the many experiences of residents sharing their incredible memories of growing up in Romford.

It is a very peaceful and tranquil room with amazing light that pours through the windows creating incredible images on the wall whilst having the opportunity to sit on a chair and hear the voices of those who have lived in Romford all their life.

It is a free exhibition in Romford market place until the 30 July and definitely well worth a visit!
