Firefighter taken to hospital.

A large fire has broken out at the junction between Sandy Lane and New Road in Rainham. A major incident has now been declared by the London Fire Brigade due to the large number of fires breaking out across London.

One firefighter has been taken to hospital.

The area is smoke filled and many residential properties have been impacted by this fire.

Our firefighters are going from fire to fire across Havering in sweltering conditions.

15 fire engines and over a hundred firefighters are currently tackling this blaze.
