Tackling violence against women and girls is something the Met Police have been focusing on for over a year now. It has been a priority for them and yesterday, Wednesday 6 of July a crime prevention stall focusing on women’s safety was held at Queen’s hospital in Romford.

Run by Sergeant Sarah Wolfe from the Romford Town Centre team and joined by members of the Brooklands and Romford Town centre safer neighbourhoods team alongside Met Volunteers. Officers engaged with members of the public to talk about safety issues and their walk and talk scheme.
