Man arrested for stealing Diagnostic Kit worth £3K.

A 35 year old man has been sentenced to 17 months imprisonment and ordered to pay £149 after stealing a Bosch Diagnostic Kit valued between £3000 to £3,500 from Kwik Fit.

On 19th December 2019 two males entered a staff only area within Kwik Fit, Ripple Road, Barking and stole the Bosch Diagnostic Kit.

CCTV was viewed and images released to the local Neighbourhood Police Teams.  A ward officer identified the men, one of whom was known as Jamie Richards aged 35 years of Maxey Road, Dagenham.

On the 23rd June 2022, Jamie Richards who changed his plea from not guilty to guilty for the offence of Burglary (stealing – in other than in dwelling) was sentenced to 17 months imprisonment and ordered to pay victim surcharge of £149.00.
