Pro active police operation sees officers shutdown Rainham Cannabis factory.

Well done to officers from Team A East whose hard work saw the closure of a Rainham cannabis factory.

The factory was discovered on Friday June 17 after an informant had been the victim of an assault.

The factory is believed to have been a very professional set up with security cameras placed all across the building to inform the occupants of any possible police presence. The factory was a high value organisation with cannabis worth hundreds of thousands of pounds.

After locating the factory, officers were very swift to close it down and arrest one person for cannabis cultivation.
