Councillor David Taylor delivers his first speech at Full Council recognising the public’s needs.

On Monday 13 June a full council meeting took place at the Town Hall in Romford. Newly elected Conservative Councillor for St Edwards ward in Romford David Taylor, was able to deliver his maiden to speech to fellow councillors in the chamber.

Councillor Taylor told the Havering Daily: “I took the opportunity to commend Labour on their clean campaigning, to congratulate the administration on forming a coalition, and to highlight the need for transparency in politics.

“I also used my time to challenge the coalition’s claims that they are reducing top politician’s allowances.”
