6th Squirrels Heath scout group in Ardleigh Green officially launched ‘Squirrels’ a new initiative from Scouts UK to provide services to 4 to 6 year olds.
17 Squirrels were invested in to the group, all of which are students at Ardleigh Green Learning Federation. The Headteacher Mr John Morris OBE was the special guest as a surprise for the children who were thrilled to see him there.
Danny Lucchesi is the adult leader in charge with Mr Terry Talbot as his assistant. Mr Talbot, at 74 has given many years of his adult life to scouting and is showing no signs of slowing down!
The group meet at Brooks Hall, 95a Hardwood Avenue, Hornchurch on a Monday at 4pm
There is currently a waiting list but any enquiries should be directed to

The group currently has spaces for Beavers (6-8), Cubs (8-10) and Scouts (10-14)
They welcome any local adults who want to sign up to support the group too.
