A pensioner in her 70s has been rushed to hospital after falling from a height in Hornchurch. Police were called by London Ambulance this morning after reports of a woman falling at a residential address on Nelmes Crescent.

A spokesperson for the Met told the Havering Daily:

“Police were called by LAS at 08:16hrs on Tuesday, 24 May to Nelmes Crescent, Havering, to reports of a fall from height from a residential address.

Officers responded with London’s Air Ambulance.

A woman aged in her 70s was found injured and was taken to an east London hospital. We await an assessment of her condition.”

Enquiries into the circumstances continue.

Officers remain at the scene.
