Launders Lane grass fire tackled by firefighters again.

Our fire crews in Havering are repeatedly tackling an ongoing fire in Rainham.
On Thursday May 5 six fire engines and around 40 firefighters were called to a grass fire on Launders Lane.
An area of wasteland was alight. There were no reports of any injuries .
New Road was closed between Lambs Lane and East Hall Lane whilst crews worked to make the scene safe.
The Brigade was called at 15:30 and the fire was under control by 19:58. Fire crews from Barking, Hornchurch, East Ham, Plaistow and Wennington fire stations attended the scene.
