Motorbike and moped collide on Southend Road

Road closures are currently in place on Southend Road in south Hornchurch following a collision between a motorbike and a moped.

The incident happened just before 1pm today, both police and ambulance are on scene.

A spokesperson for the Met told the Havering Daily:

“Police were called at approximately 12:50hrs on Tuesday, 3 May to reports of a motorbike and a moped in collision in South End Road, Rainham.

“London Ambulance Service attended and both riders were treated at the scene. Condition awaits for both.

“Road closures remain in place at the scene.”
