Katharine Tumilty – Labour Candidate for Gooshays
The Havering Daily is running a list of the different candidates across Havering in preparation for the local elections on May 5.
Today we have Katharine Tumilty, an Labour and Co-operative Party Candidate for Gooshays.
I have lived in Harold Hill for 15 years. I have worked with children and their families for over 20 years. This also included supporting and advocating for families experiencing physical and mental health issues as well as challenges such as financial issues and housing difficulties.
As a Labour and Co-operative candidate I am working with the police to address issues of street crime and am arranging a ‘walk and talk’ with the police to identify areas of risk within Gooshays.
As part of the Labour Action Team, I have been able to advocate for residents within Gooshays and my professional experiences has enabled me to communicate with the council to seek resolutions. This is my first time of standing as a Councillor and I am excited to have the opportunity to support the residents of Gooshays ward. I am standing as a Labour and Co-operative candidate and proud to be focusing on local issues that impact us all who live in Harold Hill.
I continue supporting the local environment. I am leading a village green status application within Gooshays and am a member of the Wombles, who continue fighting for our green spaces to be maintained and accessible.
If elected I would have a strong voice in seeking the change that Harold Hill deserves.
What’s this 0n Her bio she really from Chelmsford.
Is she staying at someone’s address for the election?
Not sure where you are getting your incorrect information from Anna? I moved from Chelmsford over 25 years ago or more. I have lived only in Harold hill for over 15 years.
Also just out of interest, you might wish to check the spelling of your name if you plan to continue sending messages to ALL of the Gooshays and Heaton Labour/Cooperative candidates as your name seems to change from Himble to Hinble.
