Councillor Judith Holt and prospective councillor Aaron Young from St Albans ward have launched a petition in a bid to stop speeding and congestion along Park Lane in Hornchurch. The road that links Hornchurch to Romford is always congested with cars and gridlocked at peak rush hour times. Councillor Holt and Mr Young have handed out over a thousand petitions to local residents in a bid to stop this area from being plagued by vehicles using it as a cut through to either reach Hornchurch or Romford.
