A party in Rainham was gatecrashed by a gang of youths one of whom was seen carrying a large knife. The party took place last night on Ongar Way and was of a peaceful nature until the large group of youths arrived and began causing trouble. The group were uninvited and witnesses report seeing one of the boys with a large knife.

A spokesperson for the Met told the Havering Daily:

“Police were called to Courtyard Mews, Rainham, at 20.11hrs on Thursday, 17 February to reports of a large group causing a disturbance.

“Officers attended. One teenage boy was arrested for possession of an offensive weapon.

“He has been taken into custody.

“During the course of the arrest, two officers were injured. They have been taken to hospital. Their injuries are not life-threatening.

“The boy has been further arrested for GBH.”

Enquiries continue.

We wish the both officers well and hope they make a speedy recovery.

    Maybe you should get you’re informed correct before posting a story. I called the police and was there the whole time.

        For some reason, people are actually blaming the police and trying to protect the kids that were causing the trouble. Probably because they’re s**t parents themselves.
