Safer Transport Officers tackling the use of e-scooters in Romford.

Well done to East Area Safer Transport team officers who were out and about in Romford yesterday morning warning e-scooter users that these scooters are illegal on our roads and should only be used on private land.

Officers were talking to members of the public and on the look out for e-scooter users to remind them that they should only be used on private land and not on our roads and pavements.

Havering and east London sees its fair share of e-scooters across our roads and pavements, with parents now even using them as a form of transportation for the school run.
