Autism charity Sycamore Trust awarded gold accreditation.

‘Investors in People’ is delighted to award Sycamore Trust UK, the autism charity that serves Barking and Dagenham, Havering and Redbridge, We invest in people, gold accreditation.

Gold accreditation means that the charity has got policies in place but more than that, it means everyone – from CEO to apprentice takes ownership for making them come to life. 

Only 17% of of these accredited organisations achieve Gold. 

Sycamore began as a parent support group in 1996, but has since grown into a charity that empowers individuals with ASD, supports families for whom Autism is part of daily life and educates the wider community on awareness of a hidden disability that affects more than one in every 100 people in the UK
