Havering Police Cadets take part in Remembrance Sunday services in Havering and London.
Havering police cadets took part in many Remembrance Sunday events including one at New Scotland Yard. The local cadets hosted the Chindit Society event at police headquarters New Scotland Yard organised by PC Anthony Kiddle.
This is an annual event that hosts World War two veterans known as The Chindits, also known as The Long Range Penetration Group that saw action between 1943-1944 and suffered heavy casualties with 1396 killed and 2434 wounded and only 500 of the wounded that would regain fitness to fight again .
The Cadets formed a Guard of Honour upon The Chindit War Memorial next to New Scotland Yard whilst the veterans laid their wreaths.
Our Police Cadets also had an audience with Commissioner Dame Cressida Dick who took time out of her busy schedule to talk to the cadets.
The cadets also took part event parades across Havering, Barking and Dagenham and Redbridge.
Well done to everyone involved.
