The air ambulance landed at Hayes Park in Hornchurch yesterday just before 5pm but despite their efforts and those of the police officers, a woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
This is very tragic.
A Met Police spokesperson told the Havering Daily:
“Police were called to Slewins Close, Havering at 16:40hrs on Thursday, 19 August following reports that a person had fallen from height.
Officers attended alongside London Ambulance Service paramedics and the London Air Ambulance.
They found a woman with injuries consistent with such a fall.
Despite the best efforts of the emergency services, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her death is not being treated as suspicious.”
