The Army held a special community day on Saturday 14th of August at Barking rugby club. Families came out to meet many different Army units who were there to engage with locals and talk about the work they do.

Lots of fun activities were available for children to join in whilst parents chatted to members of the military about their work.

They were also able to show case some of their uniforms including the Coldstream Guards very famous bearskin caps, alongside some of their weapon systems that keep our country safe.

The Army provide fantastic opportunities for for both men and women right across the board.

This was a great community day for all.
