VIDEO: Essex Tribute Fest a HUGE success!

Essex Tribute Fest special.

The weekend saw thousands of people descend onto Harrow Lodge Park in Hornchurch to attend Havering Mind’s Essex Tribute Fest. The sun shone and the crowds arrived to enjoy live music, fantastic stalls, food zones and fun fair rides for the children.

From vintage classic cars, to a punch and Judy man, alongside Havering’s very own Elvis, Chris Vegas wowing his spectators.

Community Hospital radio Bedrock were on hand to provide great tracks for the crowds, and thanks to UK Garrison Star War’s Storm Troopers and Chewbacca were patrolling the park having their picture taken with many families.

Well done to the Met the police who provided police horses, officers from the Territorial Support Unit and Havering Police Cadets run by PC Anthony Kiddle. They all engaged brilliantly with the crowds who were eager to come and talk to them and see the hard work they do in our communities. Children had the opportunity to stroke the beautiful horses and try on some of the body armour police use during riots.

This event was much needed for our community after the very difficult lock down periods the country has faced. Well done to Havering Mind’s Ciaran White and his team of volunteers who organised this fantastic event that was able to provide much needed fun and put a smile on all our faces.

Actually Deesar Hornchurch is in Essex the last time i looked! I grew up in Hornchurch and although located within a London Borough we are STILL in Essex . We are proud to say we are both East London and Essex people ! Hope you enjoyed the fantastic Tribute festival like the many thousands who attended on saturday in support of a brilliant charity Havering Mind!

Impossible. All London Boroughs are in the county of Greater London which means they can’t be in the county of Essex, Kent, or Surrey etc.

Can you as a Hornchurch resident vote for the Essex Crime Commissioner?
Can you as a Hornchurch resident vote for the London Mayor?

The fact Havering is a LONDON Borough means it can’t possibly be in Essex.
