Police vehicle pursuit ends in A12 collision.

Queues on the A12 this afternoon in Romford between Petits Lane and Gallows Corner are due to a vehicle that failed to stop for the police and then collided with another vehicle on the A12.

A spokesperson for the Met told the Havering Daily:

“At approximately 14:00hrs on Wednesday, 11 August a police pursuit was initiated in the vicinity of the A12 at Gallows Corner after a car failed to stop for police.

“A short time later the car was in collision with another vehicle on the A12.

“Two occupants of the car fled the scene on foot – enquiries are underway to locate them.

“No reports of any serious injuries.”
