Dangerous knife recovered by police following weapon sweep.

Well done to East Area police who conducted a weapon sweep this morning at Mayesbrook Park in Dagenham as part of Operation Mockingbird.

As a result of this weapon sweep, the knife below that was hidden amongst the under growth, was taken off our streets. It was conducted by local Safer Neighbourhoods teams who are pro active in protecting the borough’s green spaces.
