VIDEO: The Sensory Garden celebrates its 60 birthday.

The Sensory Garden in Harrow Lodge, Hornchurch celebrated it’s 60 birthday on Thursday 22 of July. The beautiful garden is run by Shelly Hart and her amazing team from the Havering Volunteer Centre.

The staff were joined by local fighters and members of the Elizabeth Line who have donated many plants to this tranquil garden on Thursday, to celebrate its 60th birthday.

The garden was very run down when Shelly and her team first took it over and following a lot of hard work by herself and her staff the garden is now something Havering is very proud of.

The garden has many different sections for locals to enjoy and really is a calm and tranquil area where you can sit in the summer sun.
