Pedestrian hit by car in Hornchurch.

Multiple emergency service vehicles were present in Hacton Lane, Hornchurch yesterday afternoon following reports of a pedestrian being struck by a car. The incident took place just before 4pm, as school children walked home with their parents.

A Met Police spokesperson told the Havering Daily:

“Police were called at 15:44hrs on Wednesday, 30 June to reports of a collision involving a car and a pedestrian in Hacton Lane, Hornchurch.

“Officers attended along with London Ambulance Service. One person, was taken to hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the car stopped at the scene.”
