A man in his 50’s has been taken to hospital after being found in Ilford with a stab injury and a man in his 50’s has been arrested on suspicion of GBH.
A Met police spokesperson said:
“Police were called at 07:03hrs on Thursday,20 May to Hainault Road, Ilford, after a man was found with a stab injury.
“The victim, aged in his 50’s, was taken to hospital. His condition is not considered life-threatening but may be life-changing.
“A man aged in his 50’s has been arrested on suspicion of GBH. LAS were called after the man said he felt unwell. He has been taken to hospital as a precaution.
“A crime scene is in place and enquiries are ongoing.
“This incident is believed to be an isolated incident and the parties are not known to each other.”
