VIDEO:Lorry dumps logs in allotment car park.

Rainham allotment users are angry after finding many logs left in their car park. The green fingered members arrived two weeks ago to discover logs over five foot tall had been literally dumped in their car park area.

Sue Ospreay told the Havering Daily: “We saw on the CCTV footage a black BMW with tinted windows pull up and go to the padlock on the gate. We aren’t sure if he knew the code or broke in but he managed to open the padlock and then a blue truck with yellow bumpers and mudflaps arrived and dumped all the logs in our car park.”

The allotment users are appealing for any tree cutters or surgeons who could spare some free time to please go and help them cut the logs so that they can be recycled.

“We are going to recycle the logs by making planters and different things out of them but we desperately need help to cut them. We are looking for any one who can help us cut the logs down for us to be able to utilise.

“Gary Sedge and Zak Wolfe came to our rescue last week to help us cut some of the logs down but we need more help.”
