Upminster house fire.

Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire at a house on Aveley Road in Upminster this morning.

A pile of mixed waste by an end of terraced house was destroyed by the blaze and a small part of the front and side of the property was damaged by the fire. There were no reports of any injuries.

The Brigade was called at 09:31 and the fire was under control by 11:36. Fire crews from Wennington, Hornchurch and Dagenham fire stations were at the scene as well as colleagues from Essex Fire and Rescue Service.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
