BackOurBobbies: Emergency Response Inspector whose front line team keep us safe everyday.

On Friday the Havering Daily had the opportunity to meet one the Met’s most dedicated officers. Inspector Jackson is an Emergency Response leader in the East Area Command Unit whose hardworking team keep the borough’s residents safe.

Inspector Jackson has been a police officer for 17 years and has worked at a variety of boroughs right across London. Not only is she a Met Police Inspector but she is also a wife and mother to two children aged two and three years old.

With Covid restrictions being at their highest at the moment, Inspector Jackson’s job is even harder.

In an interview with the Havering Daily, Inspector Jackson tells us about her role as an officer in the Met.

Please remember officers like her who are not able to work from home, who go out on the frontline everyday day to keep us safe. Especially now with the threat level raised to severe and Covid restrictions that have made the police’s job even harder. So spare a thought for them as they also have families at home to look after.

Meet Inspector Jackson a Met Hero.

Inspector Jackson.
