Police respond to video showing teenager assaulting an older woman.

A video has been circulating social media, local facebook groups in particular showing an incident involving a teenager girl and an older lady walking down a street in Collier Row.

The Havering Daily contacted the Met Police in regards to this incident, please see their response below.

A spokesperson for the Met said : “Police are aware of a video circulating on social media that seems to show a teenage girl assaulting an older woman.

“The incident is believed to have taken place on Wednesday, 22 October.

“Officers have spoken to the girl in the video and her parents. Officers have been unable to identify the other woman in the video, as such no further action will be taken.”
