Residents across Havering shone lights, candles and lanterns as a mark of respect to honour all our emergency service workers who have died in the line of duty.Lights were shone along many streets to remember those who gave their lives for us.

This was done to coincide with National Police Memorial Day where a virtual service was held to pay tribute to the brave men and women who died serving their country.

Havering residents lit candles and lanterns and placed them on their windowsills or out on their drive to show their respects for our fallen heroes.
