Back our Bobbies campaign-Romford Labour activist Peter Wheelband adds his support.

Peter Wheelband from Romford Labour today added his support to the Havering Daily ‘Back our Bobbies’ campaign.

Peter writes:

It’s imperative that our Police force is funded correctly and given our full backing . Given the cuts to budgets and reduced amount of officers on our streets , the job has become harder and more dangerous.

It’s very disappointing that our local MP Andrew Rosindell voted to reduce budgets for the last decade , resulting in unsafe streets and increased crime. We need to back our police force 100% and allow them to get on with the job by providing the resources they need.

My son is a newly recruited officer working for the Met. Him and his colleagues have my upmost admiration and my full support.
