Motorcyclist killed in a collision in South Hornchurch.

Dagenham Road in South Hornchurch has been closed following the death of a motorcyclist this afternoon.

A spokesperson for the Met told the Havering Daily: “Police were called to Dagenham Road, south Hornchurch, at 15.13hrs on Saturday, 25 July, to reports of a road traffic collision.

“Officers attended along with London Ambulance Service (LAS). A motorcyclist, in his 50s, was found injured after a collision with the central reservation. Despite the efforts of emergency services, he died at the scene a short time later. Next of kin have been informed.”

The road has been closed in both directions and police are appealing to any witnesses or anyone with any dashcam footage to contact police on 101, quoting CAD 5050/25Jul.
