Stolen lorry dumped in Romford.

Police cordoned off parts Havering-atte-Bower yesterday following reports of a stolen lorry being found near the stables.

Local residents reported seeing the vehicle parked up near the stables area yesterday afternoon just after 1pm.

A spokesperson for the Met told the Havering Daily:

“At approximately 13:20hrs on Thursday, 16 January, officers on routine patrol located a lorry that was believed to have been stolen, on Wellingtonia Avenue in Romford.

“The vehicle was forensically examined at the scene.

“There have been no arrests.”
