Moped rider in collision with car in Rainham.

A moped rider believed to be delivering food was involved in a collision with a car last night in Rainham.
Witnesses along Frederick Road heard sounds of a smash and came out to find a moped rider knocked over and a car with a damaged bumper.
A spokesperson for the Met told the Havering Daily:
“Police were called at 19:01hrs on Monday, 6 January to reports of a road traffic collision between a car and a motorcyclist in Frederick Road, near the junction with Betterton Road, Rainham.
“Officers attended and the motorcyclist left the scene on foot prior to police arrival.
“No arrests have been made”.
