Man who claimed to be doing a charity bike ride is jailed for fraud.

A man who claimed to be collecting money for a charity bike ride on behalf of MacMillan cancer and Havens hospice has been jailed.
John Peters was stopped on December 5th by PC Delivett and a colleague after he was seen knocking door to door saying he was collecting for a charity bike ride.
He was charged with three counts of fraud and one of having items for fraud at at Barkingside Magistrates court and jailed for 12 weeks.
