Harold Hill Fire fighters held a special Christmas party on Saturday afternoon for members of the local community.
The London Fire Brigade Officers held the festive meal at their fire station in Harold Hill where between 20-30 people enjoyed a Christmas dinner with all the trimmings.
Carols were sung by Harold Hill resident Hazel Gibbons and the meat was provided free of charge by Jon Gold butchers in Rayleigh.
Gooshays Ward Councillor Jan Sargent who was at the event told the Havering Daily:
“It was a fantastic afternoon and the community really enjoyed it. I would like to thank the Harold Hill fire fighters for all their help and support throughout the year attending the many events organised here.
“A beautiful meal was had by all and we look forward to next year’s one.”
