Clockhouse Lane in Collier Row has reopened following a collision this morning.

A child, senior school age was struck crossing the road.

It is believed the child ran out from behind a bus trying to cross the road.

A spokesperson for the Met told the Havering Daily:

“Officers were called to the scene of a collision in Clockhouse Lane near the junction with Larchwood Avenue, Collier Row at 07.34hrs on Friday, 12 December.

“A child, believed to be senior school age, was taken to a central London hospital following the incident.

“His condition is not believed to be life threatening.”

Clockhouse Lane was closed for a period of time after the collision and has now reopened.

No arrests have been made.
