Elm Park Christmas lights switched on.

Elm Park Christmas light switch on last week saw the area turn into a Christmas town with lights and festivities everywhere.
Over two hundred children attended Santa’s Grotto sponsored by the Eye Clinic.
The Lights were switched on just after five by Mr Cole of ‘Cole’s Furniture’ alongside Havering’s Mayor Councillor Michael Deon Burton.
The ‘Best dressed shop assistants’ prize went to Hair.com and the ‘Best shop window’ prize went to Cake World.

Councillor Stephanie Nunn who was present at the event, told the Havering Daily:

It was a great atmosphere in the town centre, thank you to all the sponsors, volunteers and residents for bringing an amazing Christmas spirit to Elm Park.”
