St Edward’s Church of England Academy hosted a Stars in Our School event on Friday 29th November. Fifty support staff and students attended including support staff from Crowlands Primary School and Rush Green Primary School.

Staff honoured the hard work and dedication support staff do in the school.

The event was a huge success and Ms Hassan, Headteacher said :

It is so exciting to celebrate this event to recognise the hard work of support staff who help to shape the lives of our young people.

Jon Richards, UNISON Head of Local Government was also at the event and said :

It is my pleasure to be at St Edward’s today to celebrate the hard work and dedication of UNISON members in schools and wonderful to see schools across the country taking time to show appreciation for their support staff today.”

Students from all three schools read out poems thanking support staff for all their hard work throughout the year.
