BREAKING VIDEO: Man arrested following foot chase in Romford.

A man has been arrested following a police foot chase along Western Road in Romford.

Witnesses report seeing a man fleeing from the police just after midday today.

A spokesperson for the Met told the Havering Daily:

“Police arrested a man [no further details] on suspicion of conspiracy to defraud near Romford BR Station around 12:04hrs on Tuesday, 3 December.

“He has been taken into custody.

“He had earlier visited a nearby bank and was detained following a foot chase.”
