Two men have been found guilty of the murder of Jodie Chesney today at the Old Bailey.

19 year old Svenson Ong-a-kwie from Romford and an unnamed 17 year old from Barking have both been convicted of murder.

The jury deliberated for over five hours as cheers of ‘yes’ were heard from Jodie’s father Peter Chesney and sister Lucy as they heard the verdict.

Guilty Sevenson Ong-a-kwie

Jodie was murdered at Amy’s park along St Neots Road in Harold Hill on Friday 1st of March earlier this year.

Her death has left a broken community who have still not recovered from the tragic event of that fatal night in March.

The remaining two defendants Manuel Petrovic from Collier Row and another 16 year old were both found not guilty.
