VIDEO: Car Fire in Harold Wood.

A car burst into flames in the early hours of this morning in Harold Wood.

The silver Ford Fiesta is believed to have caught fire at 2.15 this morning when an electrical fault in the front passenger side sparked a fire.

The incident happened in Hamilton Drive when neighbours reported seeing a fire in the front of the car.

The car is believed to belong to a pensioner who fortunately was not in the vehicle at the time of the fire.

Shocked onlooking neighbours called the fire service who arrived and safely put the fire out.
