A Collier Row dog grooming parlour is on a mission to raise £500 for Battersea Dogs and Cats Trust.
Hollywood Dogs in Boxmoor Road, has currently raised over £300 and are now aiming at hitting the amazing target of £500.
Owner Leah Snowden Flakerall told the Havering Daily, ‘Last year I did the Battersea Mud run but I couldn’t this year, so I have decided to raise money in the store by holding a special raffle.
‘People have being bringing us all their unused dog stuff like dog beds, blankets, even cat and dog food, it’s been brilliant. ‘
On the 27th and 28th of September the staff are holding a special ‘bath-a-thon’ to raise extra.
‘We are offering £10 a bath for small dogs and £15 for larger dogs. All the proceeds will go to Battersea.
‘We have a lot of dogs that come here that came from Battersea so it’s something that is very close to our hearts. We take great pride in our work and want to give something back to Battersea for all the incredible work they do.’
