Havering’s population is rising and with it, the pressure on housing across the borough-but do we have the infrastructure to support it?

The London Borough of Havering has seen its population increase from around 237,200 in 2011 to 262,100 in 2021, a jump of roughly 10.5% in just a decade. Estimates suggest the number of residents may now be approaching 276,000 in 2024. This growth brings new challenges for housing, services, and infrastructure.
