Hornchurch Crime Scene in Place following an Attempted Bank Robbery.
A crime scene remains in place after four suspects attempted to rob the Nationwide in Hornchurch yesterday night.
No items were believed to have been stolen and police have launched an investigation as four suspects fled the scene.
A spokesperson for the Met Police told the Havering Daily:
“Officers were called at 23:45hrs on Thursday, 26 March following a report of an attempted burglary at a bank on Station Lane, Hornchurch.
Four suspects fled the scene before officers arrived. It is currently believed no items were stolen. A crime scene remains at the location.
No arrests have been made at this early stage and enquiries are ongoing.”
