Breaking: 16 Year Old Stabbed Then Arrested as Violent Disorder Spreads Across Romford’s South Street.
A youth has been stabbed and later arrested in Romford following a fight yesterday afternoon.
Police were called at around 17:30 on Thursday 19 March to reports of a fight involving a knife on South Street.
While officers were making their way to the scene, further reports came in of a stabbing at Romford Station, which was later closed as police investigated the incident.
Officers attended alongside the London Ambulance Service.
A 16-year-old boy was assessed at the scene before being taken to hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life changing.
The same boy was arrested on suspicion of affray and remains in hospital under police guard.
Enquiries are ongoing to trace further suspects.
